Musikfest is here! While many out-of-towners might be inclined to focus solely on the music… there is SO much more!
Here are ten things we are crazy about at Musikfest!!!
The Vibe
Whether it’s the ever changing sounds of music or the smell of delicious foods wafting through the air, everyone at Musikfest is just happy it’s finally there for the year!

The Quirky Surprises
You just never know what wild and wacky attraction you’ll find at Musikfest. The HUGE Musikfest mug was quite an amazing item!

The Musikfest Staples
While you can certainly get and do many of these “exclusive” items a handful of other places and times, the fact that certain foods and activities are all together at Musikfest make them that much more exciting to experience.

The Big Acts For many locals, being able to see and hear big named acts in your own backyard is pretty wild! They have a wide selection of classic rock to newer names that will get nearly every music-genre covered.

ALL The Food! While everyone who has fested at least once before have their go-to item, the selection of deliciousness can’t be beat. You just never know when you’ll find a new favorite item you won’t be able to live without the next year.

The Art Musikfest has quite the selection of art that visits each year. This year includes magical oversized prisms and a large mural being painted throughout the fest. Previous exhibits have included a giant inflatable piece you could walk through.

The History Much of the fest takes place in historic Bethlehem, so being able to look at the old historic buildings up close is pretty spectacular. Then a few years ago when Bethlehem re-incorporate the old SteelStacks into the cultural hub that it is today, not only has the ArtsQuest Center been a fun addition to the event, but main offices of where all that wonderful Musikfest planning is right there too!

The Quaint Spots While the fest can get pretty wild and crazy, there are still many quaint and quiet spots to enjoy some music and entertainment too.

The Mugs! Every year features a different mug design (also the same design featured for that year’s promo material) and its a fun way to get a new souvenir every time. BUT you can also use any year mug to carry around your beverage, so seeing previous year mugs bopping throughout the grounds is a neat little extra as well.

Dessert! Last, but certainly not least, there are some amazingly decadent desserts. While it’s always been said that you should always leave room for dessert, you should really take that advice to heart… at least one time you’re at the fest. You’ll be glad you did.
