
Easton, Pennsylvania is home to wonderful areas that make it a fantastic place to live, work, and play. One of those spots is Hugh Moore Park, nestled along the Lehigh River and Lehigh Canal and home to more than you may think!
Just 15 minutes from downtown Easton, Hugh Moore Park is 520 acres and offers walking, running, hiking, kayaking, biking and more.
There is also a 2.5 mile spur of the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor which spans a total 165 miles.
Hugh Moore Park sits on the former site of one of the United States’ first industrial parks and is a part of the National Park Service Heritage Corridor.
The National Canal Museum is also on the grounds and offers boat and bike rentals from the beginning of June through the end of October, Wednesday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Museum offers an exploration of the history, culture, science, and technology of canals through various exhibits and hands-on activities. The most popular hands-on activity is to take a canal boat ride aboard the Josiah White II.
